Neo4j Graph Assessment : The dashboard
Background
I recently wrote an outline of the Neo4j Graph Framework, not only was this my first Neo4j blog post as an employee, it was also the combination of a major piece of work I have been contributing to since joining the company.
One key aspect of the Framework is the Project Assessment we take our customers through in our Customer Success organisation. Using the results to build tailored mutual success plans to help support the design, development and release of their solutions.
We use Gainsight as our Customer Success engagement platform and recently integrated the assessment as a survey which our Customer Success Manager’s can send out to the stakeholders and project team members to get their opinion on their current level of progress and knowledge across the framework. Whilst this simplifies the initial engagement with our customers, Gainsight isn’t ideally suited to actually using the responses to identify areas of focus or make recommendations. The visualisations within Gainsight are also pretty poor.
Before moving the survey into Gainsight we piloted the approach using a simple Google form, which although it wouldn’t scale did allow us to create some simple, yet highly readable charts to present and discuss with customers.
My aim…
Can I take the results from the survey and build a reusable solution using Neodash to allow Customer Success Managers to share the results from the survey AND provide recommendations on next steps?
Some data loading took place here…. export from Gainsight, import of Neo4j use cases, training courses, ….
The results
Thanks to Niels de Jong & Harold Agudelo and the amazing Neodash the results are pretty awesome!
The initial summary page
Using the new Action feature the ability to switch between customers is really easy and the radar charts provide a very clear summary.
Recommendations
The first set of recommendations are based on Neo4j’s published customer case studies, Graph Academy and Graph University training courses.
There is potentially a lot more which could be added to this solution, the Neo4j Professional Services catalog and Customer Successes own advisory services. Comparisons between customers/projects in similar industries.
